Hotel Jelka

Jelka Hotel on the Pokljuka plateau is a modernly furnished hotel located on 1300 m altitude and offers many winter and summer activities. There is a ski slope in proximity, suitable for children and beginners. Cross country trails you find on more starting points around the hotel and the biathlon center Pokljuka is 5 km away. Snow shoeing is possible on the Alpine association marked trails that pass the hotel, also the long distance Juliana trail. Pokljuka plateau is a starting point for many trails to peaks like Debela Peč, Viševnik, Draški vrh or even our highest mountain Triglav. From late spring to early autumn you can hike all these technically easy trails, in winter, the peaks offer great terrain for Ski touring. Also Pokljuka is a heaven for mushrooms lovers that grow around many pastures and meadows. Mountain biking is popular on Pokljuka too. There are hundreds of forest roads but because of the regulations of Triglav national park, there are limits of where biking is allowed.
The nature of Triglav national park is well protected, that is why it also remains beautiful so we and our guests can be part of it.

The road to hotel climbs 700m from the valley and is popular among moto bikers and scenic road car drivers.

The hotel is 15 km away from Bled. From Bohinj Lake you can reach it by 20 minute drive. To Ljubljana is 1h 30 drive.
Public transport is not daily. The busses run on weekends in winter and summer season.

• 8 twin bedrooms with the possibility of additional beds
• 2 group rooms with up to 7 and up to 13 beds
All rooms are with bathroom (shower or bath), Wi-Fi internet & LCD television. 14 rooms have balcony. Pets are allowed in rooms.
