The guesthouse, that lies in the centre of the picturesque health resort of Bad Hofgastein, has been around since 1272 and managed by the fourth family generation already. Only 5 minutes from our guesthouse by car you will find the local station. An ice skating rink, a cross-country skiing trail as well as the ski bus are all accessible right outside our house. The nearby Spa Park invites guests to leisurely stroll. Pure relaxation awaits you when visiting the Gastein Alpentherme thermal spa, which you can easily reach on foot within 2 minutes only.

Accommodation location
Whether winter holidays in the apartment or a romantic partner vacation in the double room – the historical Friedrichsburg offers matching accommodation to everyone. The old construction and the high ceilings create a special feeling of cosiness. Thanks to friendly pastel shades and bright wood furniture, you will feel at home in the 25 rooms of the Friedrichsburg straight away. The light-flooded apartments of the house as well invite guests to stay. A special night can be experienced in the historical castle room. Unforgettable mountain views of the Graukogel and Stubnerkogel await guests from all our balconies. Thanks to our rich breakfast buffet, you can start your day strengthened. In addition to that, our Friedrichsburg guesthouse offers an elevator as well.

Our guesthouse is surrounded by a large garden that invites guests to relax. Two common rooms in the house offer space for playing and sharing stories. After an active day you then best relax with a visit of our Ranon thermal waters or with a soothing massage in the massage area.

Winter in Gastein
Pure skiing pleasures await you in your winter vacation in Bad Hofgastein. With the ski bus that stops right outside our Friedrichsburg guesthouse, you can reach the pistes of the Gasteinertal without any trouble. Cross-country skiing enthusiasts will get their money’s worth in Bad Hofgastein.

Summer in Gastein
Summer holidays in Bad Hofgastein are characterised by their variety: Whether hiking the alpine hiking trails in the Hohe Tauern National Park, exciting bike trails or a discovery tour of Gastein’s high-alpine trail that starts right outside our house.
