Lyžování Galtür Silvretta

Galtür (Silvretta) – Ski Vacations With Heaps of Access
Galtür – Silvretta hangs near the Paznaun Valley and holds to its fame as one of Austria’s highest resorts. The resort itself lies at 1600 meters, with lifts taking skiers to 2300 meters. Galtür – Silvretta is linked by bus to Ischgl, giving another 300+ pistes when an individual buys the catchall Silvretta Lift Pass. Galtür – Silvretta is in Tyrol, part of the humongous Silvretta Ski Area. A small drive 120 km away from Innsbruck brings skiers and snowboarders to 40 km spread over 16 enticing ski runs. The maximum vertical plunge only last for 662 meters, but the 3.2 km run is a good challenge. There are some great black runs here for expert skiers—that’s 10 km spread over just 3 runs; 11 red runs over 24 km; and, 2 blue runs compromising 6 km. Cross-country trails spiral in and out of the valley for 45 km. Snowboarding in Galtür – Silvretta is nothing new. Galtür – Silvretta embraced the sport while it was still in its infant stages. The 1991 European Cup was even held here. The ski pass gives boarders access to a snow park with a 90-meter half pipe in Samnaun—this snow park has to be one of the largest in all of Europe.
Galtür – Silvretta Accommodation: There are some luxury hotels in Galtür, though the three star lodges offer some nice amenities. The apartments, chalets and other hostels offer fewer services for less money, of course.
